I always think it’s very interesting to find things that relate/are from the same time period as things I am currently learning about (in class or elsewhere). In Spanish Lit., we’ve been talking about the occupation of Spain by France, 1808-1814. Here is Napoleon, in a painting dated two years prior to the invasion.
